Our presentation will provide an informative introduction to the principles and language of the The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and their impact. The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey was first published in 1989 and there have been more than 25 million copies sold in 38 languages, and continues to remain one of the best selling nonfiction business books to this day.
In the Seven Habits, Covey presents a presents an approach to being effective in attaining goals by aligning oneself to what he calls “true north” principles that he presents as universal and timeless in his various works. He does not claim to have invented the principles but rather to have rediscovered them and created a simple language for articulating them. In August 2011, Time listed Seven Habits as one of “The 25 Most Influential Business Management Books.“

William P. (Bud) Werner is an analytical professional manager/consultant with extensive practical experience in Training and Organizational Development, including Executive/Leader Coaching & Development, Instructor Training and Development, Process Reengineering, and Organizational Continuous Improvement.
Bud has 70 credits beyond his MA with concentrations in Psychology and Management and Organizational Process Effectiveness. He is a certified trainer/process facilitator in ten nationwide leader/process development programs.
Bud has presented sessions on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People at GPU Nuclear Corporation and Mid Atlantic Nuclear Training Group.
Stephen Jones is an experienced project & quality management professional with a wide variety of experience in global program management and quality implementation. He currently directs the global Program Management Office for SaaS Financial Services Provider. Stephen has a M.S. in Business Organizational Management with his undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering. Additionally, he has a certification in Organizational Development and Change Management from Georgetown University. Stephen is a Senior Member of ASQ, Past Section Chair and is certified as a Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE). Stephen has lead 7 Habits of Highly Effective People programs since 1995 for a variety of organizations.
