Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer – Northern, NJ

Are you looking to utilize your Supplier Management skills in the quality/medical device industry?

We are looking for you! Global Medical Device Manufacturer in New Jersey is seeking highly motivated Supplier Quality Engineers to serve as a liaison between suppliers and operations to drive supplier improvement.

Responsibilities include:
* Support supplier certification activities such as, product source, skip-lot, and reduced inspection requirements alongside internal customers
* Focus on supplier quality by leading and participating in continuous improvement activities and supplier development projects
* Support Operations initiatives by tracking, managing, and trending supplier corrective actions
* Lead supplier audits and visits
* Assess and regulate internal approval requirements of northern New Jersey supplier change requests (SCRs)

Requirements include (you must have ALL for consideration):
* Established corrective/preventative action and advanced quality engineering/auditing experience
* Extensive experience with Lean Six Sigma
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device or other regulated industry and/or a minimum of 3 years of quality focused Supplier Management experience
* Extensive knowledge of specific supplier programs
* Skilled in Project Management
* Proficient in relevant computer applications
* Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Established understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and experienced in implementing SPC or similar controls
* Ability to read Geometric Dimensional and Tolerancing (GD&T) and technical drawings
* Effectively prioritize and accomplish tasks with little supervision
* Skilled in multi-tasking in a deadline-drive, fast-paced environment
* Effectively work with others on multi-national teams in various disciplines
* Established skills in analytics and problem solving

* Lean Six Sigma certified yellow, green, or black belt
* Experience in the medical device industry
* An MBA or Advanced Degree
* Applied knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes
$75,000 – $95, 000 Base Salary with bonus, incentives, benefits and more!
