Section Meeting – Manufacturing Engineering Quality

This month’s section meeting will showcases several recent Lean Six Sigma projects, that the speaker facilitated, at local healthcare facilities where Lean Six Sigma Teams made processes faster, better and less expensive, while improving patient outcomes and satisfaction. The presentation will be interactive with comments and questions invited.

Ed May is an American Society for Quality Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ CSSBB), Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) who spent two decades in the manufacturing industry before establishing himself in 2001 as a quality consultant, adjunct professor, and on-site instructor.

Ed specializes in Six Sigma Quality, Lean Thinking, and ISO 9001:2008 Quality Systems. Ed has implemented Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, ISO 9000, and other quality systems at numerous organizations in the New York Metropolitan area.

Ed has facilitated more than a dozen successful Lean Six Sigma Projects at local health care facilities during the last several years.
